Look at this research a bit differently and it could lead to a real Nobel prize. If the findings here can translate in to destroying insect or animal pests by incorporating a design in to beer bottles or cans, it could wind up being of benefit to society. Imagine perhaps cane toads being amorously lured to their death by trash on the side of the road or the design incorporated in to fencing. What a delicious irony if the continuation research resulted in a real Nobel-an elite club for 2 Nobel prizes for the same discovery!

Sheez, randy beetle.
Oh well, at least it's having fun. There's a lot I could further with this, but as I'm a good girl, I won't.

Nope, I lied, I simply can't help myself .....
Between the beetle and I (that's I observing with my telescope until the wee hours of the morning), I think I know which one had the more fun. ). Go Beetle! There's a an empty Corona bottle on my back step.
