NSW should get rid of daylight saving.....I know it won't happen, but it should at least be wound back to as it was.
Start last Sunday in Oct, finish last Sunday in March!!

Oh no, the curtains will fade and the cows will be confused for another year. Won't someone think of the children!

Roll on Summer (and closer to SDM#59 being finished)

Love daylight saving, I really can't see why anyone wouldn't. In Tassie the long balmy summer nights are fantastic.

Longer days mean more hours to spend time with the family at both ends of the day. It means time to spend with the children in the backyard after dinner, driving to work in daylight hours, warm weather and lots of long sunny days.

Don't care much for the 'less light for astronomy' theory. Like all of my hobbies, astronomy does not rule my life. I have more important things in my life to focus on.

In NSW daylight savings falls in line with the bush fire season.

I don't know if it's deliberately done that way but the extra daylight sure makes our job easier if a situation is happening.

It maybe good down south and I don't mean I am convinced of that, but in Queensland it just doesn't work. We had a 3 year trial and after that it was considered unsuitable up here by the majority of people there have been several attempts to get DLS up in Referendums and it has failed each time.

Sorry to hear that, but don't worry... It too will pass and you can put the clocks back to the right time.

Good thing i dont live on the border that would be confusing.
Imagine working over the border and living on the opposite side.
