pentax's new name

pentax was recently purchased from hoya by ricoh and will be known as the PENTAX RICOH IMAGING COMPANY unfortunately the japanese did not think about "PRIC" for short still love my k-5

Good to see pentax still up there. I learnt photography on a k1000. The other name for the new company can be PR, and it does not stand for public relations, has a more medical meaning

Hey, you know where you can stick your medical meaning . I have been a Pentax man for over 30 years. My Pentaxes have been up hill and down dale. Just hope Pentax can keep on innovating , they do have a couple of features that the rest do not have that make them a cut above the rest for astro.

I concur have a look at this link, he is stacking only three to five shots, no flats,no darks or lights just stacked and cropped. at 80 iso he is getting no read out noise and 14 stops of dynamic range!!!!!!!! not much else comes close
