Jupiter Sept. 18 - my best so far

Hello,

The last and quite prolific week has ended up bringing the best conditions I've got on Jupiter this year!
Very good seeing, but not excellent as proven by falling resolution from R to B channels. At least, I was finally able to get a color image of the Giant.

It's a shame Jupiter was facing its own boring side with no particolar area of interest or a moon crossing by.
But I won't desperate, the opposition is still far enough.

More to follow.

That is a huge scale Paolo, and the detail very sharp. Thanks for the view. All the best.

Hi guys, thank you for your nice comments!

Yes, I should agree there are no more boring side on Jupiter at this level, but you should believe me when I say a GRS or transiting moon can give the image something of special indeed!
Hope to prove it very soon!
