M46 (NGC2437) Open Star Cluster

After scouring the sky for 6 hours continuously last night, i finally took some pics of M46. Was very hard to find it as it was pinpoint small but eventually i did! Quite happy as this is my first Star Cluster with a Neb inside

Let me know what you think.

great one ez!!!
the stars are a little enlongated in a stretched kinda way, but that said the said stretchedness of the elongated stars which are not round does not detract from the over all picture of which you have displayed.

well, i like it anyhow...

Not bad for first time! "a little bit of tracking error,"there are only a few clusters with p/n in them, but M46 is the only one visible to the run of the mill amateur astronomer, M15 comes to mind but I think it requires a scope of at least 12"(30cm) and a realy good sky to see visibly.
M46 is visible naked eye from a reasonably dark sky.
