I thought i'd put myself and my gear to the test.
So i chose a reasonably faint and small Galaxy to image

Here is the result

NGC7410

87 x 20 Secs exposures at ISO 800
12" Skywatcher goto Dob
Canon 550D
Stacked with DSS
Processed with CS5

Hi Stu,

I would say you passed your test.
That is a nice shot.

Is that another little faint fuzzy on the left of your shot about half way down?

According to astrometry.net the fuzzy on the left is IC5260 and Simbad then says that is NGC7404.
