Smoky Brisbane under an inversion layer gave a golden hue to images of the Moon and Jupiter this morning. The auto white balance on the EOS 550D does an excellent job of rendering neutral colours, but for these I chose the Daylight white balance.
They look great Tom especially the Moon.
I was at a mate's place Saturday night trying to test a recent buy.
When the Moon came up I thought it was a street light because of the orange glow.
You've captured it beautifully.
Nice shots Tom, I can understand the smoke haze i moved last year from Laidley nice clear skys at night to Tasmania where my smoke haze starts in about May and is just starting to get better at night people gota keep warm i guess.
