Jupiter & Ganymede Sept 11th 2011

Hi All,

Imaged Jup this morning in pretty average conditions, that said this was better than it has been for a while. I suppose its a measure of how crook the Jetstream has been that even ordinary seeing starts to have some sort of attraction.

Have attached 1 RGB & 2 807nm IR images.

Thanks for looking.

Regards
Trevor

Ganymede looks huge next to the disc of Jupiter. Consider this exercise for when the seeing gets good if it ever happens. Can see the IR being used a lot.

John.

looks like what otherwise (in good seeing) would have been a very nice image.
