I finally got my scope from the US (after a week). Nexstar 8SE kit, less than one year old (which I since discovered is Fastar compatible

) Celestron branded Pelican case. FedEx shipping from US, landed in Aust for $1240. As the scope kit costed under $1000, no GST. Now just waiting for the clouds to clear...
