Uranus 18th September

This is an image of Uranus tonight. Video Crop Mode at 60fps, ISO 6400 1/60th sec, with auto white balance on the Canon EOS 550D + 5x Powermate an 12" SkyWatcher Goto Dobsonian. The smoke haze in Brisbane has greatly diminished the brightness of the planet. The black speckles visible in the first image (2000 frames stacked) are probably due to the large amount of noise. I've also attached a second image using almost all the 6000 frames recorded. The last image is a single frame from the video.

Well done Tom. If that last frame is all you can see in the live view I would have completely missed it.
