Scope mount has battery pack inbuilt also. Not a GOTO scope but PUSHTO with motorized mount. With the Magellan II encoders I think Skysafari3 connected to iPad/iPhone may control it. If anyone knows pls let me know! I read somewhere early on that lx50 was included. The southern stars website does include Magellan as working with skysafari3. There was an issue with the screen not reading brightly on the Magellan II but when I took the back off and pushed lightly on the corner of the screen it lit up brightly and stayed that way except for the occasional dim readout. I Haven't looked any further into that. There may be a couple of other bits and pieces I haven't remembered. Think that's about it though.
