Exclamation Incredible Timelapse over the Earth

This has to be the best timelapse ever put together

Put together by a space enthusiast from 600 images taken onboard the ISS, shows night time over North and South America, including thunderstorms and finishing with the sunrise.

Just amazing.

WOW..........

You can see how much light we humans put out, and the difference in North vs South America, light-wise. Fair bit of cloud too!!!

Then I scrolled down to read the YouTube comments

Brilliant stuff, thanks for sharing
John

Wow. Speechless.
BTW, the thin layer of halo above earth, is that the atmosphere (or at least light reflected from it)?
