Lagoon Central

SPX350 F4.5, ATK-16HR, Astrodon filters.

Had to give this a go overhead in narrowband hubble style-image1. Tried to put in the RGB stars using blend mode lighten which seemed to work but blue O3 turned purple so had to correct in image2. Jase suggestion of col noise to reduce pink stars worked well. Close in central area-image3.

Image long ways looks more attractive and 3D.

S2-11x6m
Ha-16x2m
O3-11x4m
RGB-10x2m.

Thanks for looking.

That's a very good narrow band lagoon John. Well done.

That is truly stunning John...
I do love what NB filters can do to our most imaged objects.

Love the detail... just opens up a whole new depth.

Keep em coming.

The narrowband method certainly does produce what appears to be more detail, opening it up with the color .
It's taken a while to grow on me, but I'm starting to like these shots, not all are done well, but you have produced a good result here.

Stunning work for sure. The middle one makes me feel like I'm looking into the whole scene from above with lighting off to one side. Wonderful

They're spectacular! Like paintings. They'd look great on canvas.

Yep, a great piece of work that John, the colours work very well and the sharpening isn't too obvious - top result

Once he gets his tongue back, Marc may propose to you though...so look out.
