It breaks my heart but I don't really use it. Less than one year old, with metal case and diagonal etc. Hardly used.
I don't use it as I also have a Meade 80mm APO.
Cost today $1,299 at Bintel.

Would sell for offers around $850 + transport. This a long scope and a big metal box so would require courier.
Looking for enough dosh to buy an 8" Newt and upgrade the focuser plus cover enough for various tube rings, mount plates etc.
Bintel has an 8" newt (bd), $529, + the cost of a moonlite focuser & motorised control- works out for me about $950 so keen to get as much as can. OR!!!!
If you have a fabbo Newt 8" that you would swap, with good focuser and tube rings etc I am all ears.
I am looking for something I can sling on a CGEM with some weight to spare for cameras/finderscope etc.
Have a 10" newt already but it's a tad too heavy for the CGEM, looking about 8-10kg OTA all up.
I know what you are saying behind your hands-" Tell 'im he's dreaming!"
A man can have dreams can't he?
