My new post on M31

Hello:

Once in a while a bright red (clean) pixel shows up on my pics taken with the Canon T2i of M31 and I assume that it's the result of dark noise.

So now I've got some attempts at a slower ISO (1600), but still not down to 800 like you said (successfully) because when I tried that at 1 minute exposure was when trailing was bad.

The one pic I'm sending here is at 1600 ISO and 30 seconds (just once, no stacking) and no dark subtraction or anything. But when I look close, I can see the detail of a swirl in the galaxy, glowing clouds. And I think I can see a faint fuzzy to the top of the picture. Isn't that neat.

But still have a way to go. Because like you say I need a better mount and a better spot of ground and more permanent place and setup.

So I'm hoping for that.
Thanks for comments.
David
