Thanks Clive-I'll type that location into the SS2K.
Its fining up at last here! so getting gear ready.
BTW-is Yarra Junction near Yarra Glen.My Uncle had a lovely place there decades ago,but I think its almost a suburb of Melbourne now.I remember climbing a hill when ten years old a could just see Doncarster Shopping centre.
Cheers Chris

Yarra junction is on the other side of the range to yarra glen. To get to me you go to healesville then over the Panton gap and down the hill.
Still sort of countryish, the burbs finish at lilydale.... Although light pollution is getting worse.
Cloudy here so nothing tonight other than IIS as far as astronomy goes.
On another note, that pic of the plane, I was in kooweerup about 4 weeks ago and yes there in the front window of a shop was a page from a magazine cut out and taped to the inside.........it was ... Your pic

re comet
Thanks Vincent.
Got observatory at the ready, bit of cloud out to the North-East,will have a camp, and get up in an hour or so.
Sounds interesting Clive re pic!,its been all over the world-quite amazing! from
Switzerland to Kooweerup! I've finally got around to doing some minor PP on it and have sent it into 'airliners.net',I am really hopping it gets that gong-such an stunning site. Not sure if it will make the grade though, its a very high standard they have, which is good. All the images there are so wonderful.
cheer Chris

Not the best, lots of cloud, had a few attempts-but looks like I need to
off balance the tube more to the lens end,as it is 'camera heavy',and the auto guider was not guiding as well as I had hope.
Yes,Clive-figured the transit time were 'a bit off',but the RA and DEC your gave-great!-typed them into SS2K and was spot on-thanks.
We are clouded out again here-storms in S.E.But hope to have a go later in week, before moon becomes an issue. So might be asking you again for location data again.
Thanks Chris

Chris,
Stellarium, CdC and C2A are all free and will all give you coords whenever you like. The minimal install of each is all you need.
Stellarium is better eye candy but the others take less grunt to run.
Don't forget to use the programs own processes to update the list of comets. They all get the data from the Minor Planet Center. These came from CdC.
