Colour capture in Nebulosity help please

I have a QHY8 colour one shot cam. When I first used the older version of Nebulosity I capture my images in B&W fits and then stacked and then batch demosaic to get the colour after stacking and combining..

However I updated to ver 2.4.0 and since then my images are captured in colour and preview in colour.. Then I can no longer Demosaic after combining lights flats and bias as the images are already colour... What am I doing wrong and can I change a setting to get nebulosity to capture in B&W raw Un-Demosaiced.

Thanks
Mardy

I only started using Nebulosity literally 30 seconds ago, but anyway...
Try selecting RAW acquisition from the Preferences, Color acquisition mode submenu and see if it solves the problem.
This should force the program to pre-process your images in B&W / RAW mode and De-Mosaic all of the pre-processed images prior to stacking.

I'm not sure if that is what you want though?

Spot on. Set aquisition mode to RAW and color output to RGB Fits Maxim

With any OSC if you stack before demosaic and you have any movement between frames you will be stacking different colour pixels.

I capture in RAW, do darks/flats/demosaic and then stack. You could split the demosaiced FITS into separate R G and B and stack them, and finally recombine.

I'm chuffed I got it right, I only downloaded the program less than a minute before I saw the post
There is so much to learn with imaging, I'm stupidly excited to be starting out, it has been a while since the old brain has been stretched this way. The feeling of wonder and exploration is something I had almost forgotten, had definitely forgotten how *good* it feels!

Thanks

Thanks all.. Could not see the wood for the trees.. That has fixed the problem.. Now I can work on getting a good image in the first place.. Looking at images I took last night of M8... Terrible to say the least.. Having guiding troubles I think.. Stars out of shape and looks out of focus... Conditions were poor with wind so that does not help any. Just gotta keep trying and trying till I get it... In the words of Dr Smith...Oh the Pain! Oh the Pain.

Thanks all
Mardy
