Home from Sydney

Hi all.

I have been in Parramatta all last week and arrived home last night.

I attended an advaced course in GPS surveying in Dundas.
We were using the GNSS using the GPS and the GLONASS satellites.

We were in this park and we put in some control points and we plotted a road design through this park using GPS AND mmGPS.

The locals had strange faces when we told them we were plotting a road through there park (Poor people didnt think this was funny).

We were using Civilcad to design the road then exported the design to Office-3D to see the design in 3D then exported again to a field controller unit to use on a GPS rover to stake out points and measure horizontals and vertical elevations.

Anyways enough of work, The food and beer was great at the Rosehill bowling club ( 20 bucks all you can eat ).

Hooters across the road was a good feed $30 for half a kilo of pork ribs.

Saw plenty of rain on Saturday.

Anyway i rambled on enough and must move on.

Cheers Kev.
