Quick moon shot 10th Aug.

C11 @ prime & resampled up. Hopefully this won't be artifact affected after the upload - I hate JPG/JPEG's.

Thanks guys. Best seeing I've had for months, despite it only being a varying 4-7/10. Not enough 7's in the stack unfortunately.

G'Day John! I love my DBK41 and did a mosaic of the moon near last full moon and it's just a huge step up from the 40D in video capture.

But battling with the WA weather at the moment & work schedule. I am saving up for a WO FLT110 and hope to get this soon and spend some good serious time.

I would strongly recommend a DBK/DMK to any beginners out there reading this. It's just a pleasure to use and build quality is great.

Cheers,
Darrin...

Good stuff Darrin! My next step is to get hold of the new 618 chipped DBK21 when it gets released. I'd also love a 41 (any model but mono) for some solar & lunar work.

You couldn't make up a story so funny as that night in chat. I'm so glad I took screen captures to prove it happened.

Hi Trevor & thanks. Just one of those rare occasions where the seeing was ok for a bit of prime focus work. One has to be on the ball each & every night up here or it'll be an opportunity gone begging.
