http://www.backyammabigfoot.com.au/course/ -Hello Last night The Parkes CWAS memebers were invited to set Their Telscopes up in The Yamma State Forest between Parkes and Eugowra NSW.5 members turned up set up 6 telescopes for the Coming night 3/9/2011.Some of the Competitors stayed in parkes and Forbes while there were probably 250 people who Camped out there .from about 6pm to 10pm we showed people the Moon -Comet Garradd - Double stars -Saturn Etc.Due to the amount of Campfires there was a lot of Smoke around -so the seeing was not too good but people still flocked to the Telescopes to view things -We had a Lions club Food van Cookong all night too.
