um, ah ,on the tail coats of the introduction of new moderators, dave has reached his 4000 posts

they can't catch me houghy, no matter how many moderators they put on my tail "blink and i am gone"........ to another thread that is to create havoc.

thanks mate for the congrats. only 125 more for you and then with ken gone on holiday for a little while, it will be the 4000 gang (ving, houghy & dave) all that is left of the once mighty forum conquering gang!

they should give an old age pensioners section where we can go and play, chew the fat and talk about the good old days. these young serious astronomers don't know how lucky they are. if it wasn't for us.........

4000 and they still are not getting any better, but then neither are mine! i am a long way off and don't post as much dribble as usual. I miss Ken!

true, i would like to think i muck around, but more serious stuff gets posted nowadays. There are so many new guys asking questions, planets images to process to really get into trouble!

I was telling my wife that I would like to try and get up to the NSW gatherings one year to catch up with ving yourself and some of the QLDers.

! lots of knowledge and genuine help

, mind you we have a lot of local talent here in the hunter and central coast

thats what i was thinking, it is either a camp or leave the scope and just come up for the moon along with family stuff. it is a long way off though. later this year or next.

its kinda west of gosford at mikes back door. my 8" dob is usually the smallest scope there.
