Suckered

Just before dark I got out the 16" because there was only a couple of small clouds on the horizon and it looked like a very promising night, did a bit of collimating then got a quick look at Saturn and Ngc 2903 when I felt a few spits of rain, and a quick coverup was made, only to uncover 15 minutes later but only for a short as the clouds rolled in again, so packed up, just in time because it hissed down.
Just had a look outside ,some cloud , Jupiter shining brightly in the east, lots of clear sky but am not going to get caught again.

Really irritating when that happens or when its cloudy so you don't put your scope out to cool then it clears into a beautiful night.

Part of the sport
