I'm looking to sell my HEQ5 Mount which I purchased over a year ago to use with an 8" Reflector which I have since sold. Since I've decided I have no use for it anymore I'm looking to sell.
I brought it brand new so it comes with everything I received when I purchased it including:
- HEQ5 Mount (non-Goto)
- Tripod
- 2 x 5KG Counterweights
- Handcontroller
- Battery Pack
- Accessory Tray
The mount as you can see is in good condition, just a bit of wear as to be expected where the dovetail is attached. You may have also noticed from the pics that the DEC and RA Lock Levers have had the normal black paint stripped. That was a little project I was attempting where I planned on stripping the black paint back and respraying them with glow in the dark paint so they were more visable at night. It didn't quite work out as I expected so I sanded them back again and planned to try again. However I never got around to it and I ended up buying another telescope which put an end to that mini project.
I'm happy to ship the mount to anywhere in Australia, locally, across the state, interstate, other side of the country, doesn't matter. I've got access to various shipping options at work so I can send it anywhere, and best of all it won't be expensive at all. Let me know if you want a quote and I'll get back to you.
I don't have the original boxes, but I can find suitable boxes and make sure everything is packed safely for transit.

$250.00 plus freight. I'm happy to be paid by either Bank Deposit or Paypal, whatever suits you best. But keep in mind if you pay Paypal you will need to add 2.4% to the final cost to cover fees.
