Best data only plans for iPad 2?

Hi guys

I just got a new iPad 2 through work but they don't pay for the data, so I need a good 3G data only plan for when I'm out of wifi range.

Preferably the Telstra Next G network, but will consider Optus. Not vodafone.

Ideally unlimited data, otherwise a generous monthly cap.

Any suggestions?

Cheers

I bought the prepaid 150 dollar one, mainly because your data allowance lasts for 12 months. I only use 3G when I am away from my wifi as there is a 20mb file size limit for downloads using 3G which is quite frustrating for downloading apps and watching iview.

Edited to add - its a telstra plan

Nothing quite like not noticing that your kids have downloaded a few gigs-worth when you get your overcharge bill...

It's a great policy, not a silly one.

I don't know of any decent plans for Ipad. I have the 12 month plan with Telstra because they only seemed to have pre paid plans for Ipad and at least this plan lasts for 12 months and not just the 28 - 30 day usage plans offered .

I use (Telstra) prepaid as well, I only top up when I need to use the 3G which is basically when I travel, often I go a couple of months without needing 3G. You can still top up even though your credit is expired.

Another vote for the telstra 12month pre-paid. I use that in my iPad 1.

Roger.
