Needed: Photo of the Parkes radio telescope

Hi all

I was wondering if anyone had a good photograph that they've taken of the Parkes radio telescope, and who wouldn't mind if I used it in this month's edition of "Prime Focus" - our MAS society journal. I'd be happy to forward you a PDF copy of the journal in payment.

I'm finalising the edition over the next couple of jours, so unfortunately I need it in a bit of a hurry. If anyone is able to accommodate I'd be very grateful.

EDIT: Found - I'm using a NASA image that's in the public domain with appropriate credit - thanks anyway

PPS, yes Chris you may use this unrestricted and if you need a better pic, then I can do that too, as this was just a quick shot for the fun of it.

LOL - thanks Bart. Much obliged.

Thanks to both Leon and Les Dalrymple (via FB) for offers. I'm right for this month, but will need another next issue. Thanks for your replies!

Wow Paul! Excellent shot of the scope indeed! Do you mind if I use it next month? I'm advertising a society trip were doing to the Dish, and will obviously give full credit to the author.

Leon & Les - I'll need a couple more for the article itself, so if don't mind can I choose one from each of you?

Much appreciated!

I did some QuickTime VR's a while back....

The files are quite large, but you can do a walk through (arrows will appear
at extra view-points) and probably get some interesting screen grabs from all sorts of angles.

Wow - thanks for the response everyone

I'll have a trawl through over the weekend and gratefully advise those who photographed the examples chosen. "Prime Focus" is starting to grow into a small colour magazine and it's scaring me. LOL
