Eclipse over the rock Version 2

I often find it takes me a while to process an image so it finally looks right...

Tinkered a bit here and a bit there with levels, colour balance, but am reasonably happy with this, albeit posted before, image..now in HD format

Great colors. Couple of questions: the caption says 14mm lens. Did you crop and stitch two panels or crop one single panel?

Thanks Marc. There are five panels (!!) the image covers about 300 degrees.

Yes, the stitch was problematic as the dammed stars kept moving

Holy molly! 5? Must have been quite a challenge to match the sky with the rock and foreground at the same time. I get a lot of funky stars at 18mm on the edges and it's just very hard to stitch anything at all at that FL. Bring on the warp tools I say.

The colours are great Peter.

How long were the subs - there seems to be quite a bit of movement of the stars for 14mm focal length.

Thanks Dave. 60 seconds each...which equitated to 120 seconds between exposures (also problematic) as the camera was taking auto-darks.
