Identify this please...

A while back I helped leon out by posting his Vic South Star Party video to my YouTube account.
Today I received a question re an item pictured in the video.

Question was "What is this?"

Any ideas? Solar projection??

It's is called a heliostat I believe. It is used to project sun light to a single point even while the sun is moving across the sky. From memory the one that was at VicSouth a few years ago was an old CSIRO or Airforce one.
