help what do I do?

In my hour of need and in a moment of weakness I swapped my spare Wii and accessories I bought off eBay for $15 for a eeePC 1001HA. Now what do I do with it? What astro software will run on this thing?

What are it's specs? What OS is it running? Technically it should be able to run any windows app.

I am running the obs on an eeebox with the same specs. I use the sky 6 and maxim all the time and phd as well sometimes. I put an ssd drive in it and installed win 7 starter and it runs fine on 1gig ram. I do have USB issues with it and plan to swap it out for a real box when the boy child upgrades his machine.

I have the same pc and use it for my Astro work, runs fine. I have 2 gig of ram though and would advise the upgrade.

I run the following software on it when imaging, starry night 6 pro plus, ascom, max point, eqmod, phd connected to my Meade dsi 2, backyard eos running my 5 d mkii. It handles all that at the same time whith out breaking a sweat. I even run photo shop cs4 and pixinsight on it, all be it a little slowly but still usable.

It's a great little laptop.
