I finally managed a weekend out of the city after a few months of family dramas.
Friday night was the clearest, stillest night I have experienced in years. I just had the camera and the tripod and a pair of aging eyes that struggle to manually focus but I did manage a few photos. Proofs of concept as much as anything else.
They don't quite do justice to the evening but I was pleased to capture some star reflection off the dam surface. I ironed out a few focus issues for Saturday night only to have it cloud over!
