Feral Cat

Hey all,

I managed to get set up in the driveway this week thanks to an unusual run of clear nights and put together this image of NGC6334 - the cat's paw nebula. This image is a bit rough, thanks to some average flats (which i will redo) and some sort of signal interference on the Ha subs. Overall, I'm fairly happy with it for a homer and just glad to get some data to play with.

Image details are: Ha160, SII180, OIII200 mins, all subs 15 minutes, for a total of 9 hours.
Equipment used: TSA120, SXVR-H16, NeQ6, Astronomic filters.

Any feedback and processing tips most welcome!

Thanks for looking,
Darrell.

Very sharp shot. You need to tone down this Ha in your blend and you'll have one for the pool room.

Thanks Marc, I see what you mean. Might try a red blend on the Ha in the colour combine, see what happens

Big fat paw prints - very nice! Especially for a 'driveway' shot.

Looks like the local moggy has been walking all over your camera again!!!

Needs a snarling dog neb nearby

Nice piccie, but as Marc said, tone the Ha down a bit or try a different blend if you like.
