Reddish Egret

Below are a few of my favorite heron, the Reddish Egret. They're the great entertainers of the wetlands, spinning, running and darting after their food in the shallows. I've seen them doing this without feeding as well, they really seem to enjoy it.

All awesome images Steve, so crisp and natural, love your work! The last image is probably my favourite, has some nice lighting and the bit of splashed water emphasises the "in the moment" kinda thing. Great looking bird too.

No wonder they are one of your favourites .. just look at them .. what a balance of colour and what plumage !!! Great pictures Steve ... everything perfect ... The pictures make me feel like my view port is right beside them, just the camera didnt record myself in the picture.
