Posidonius 18-02-2006

Took advantage of the great seeing last night and this morning to image Saturn, Jupiter, and the moon. I only got to do one sequence on the moon, however - I had filled up all the free space on my laptop with Saturn and Jupiter!

Anyway, here is the final result - crater Posidonius. 400 frames stacked in Registax.

What a great shot and what an incredibly interesting crater - looks like it has some lava fow and rilles within it?

Thanks for sharing!

That's a superb and really detailed image of a very interesting crater. Well done Adam, a Lunar image to be proud of!

Cheers

Dennis
