Takahashi Vari-extender in excellent condition. The Vari-extender, is a screw-in Barlow-type device for use with Takahashi refractors such as the FS-102, FS-128 and more recently the SKY-90. Not sure which other Tak models it is suitable for. Apparently it is not suitable for the FS-60's. It consists of a 1.6 X "telenegative amplifier" lens assembly (read "Barlow"), three extension tubes, and a 1.25" compression ring eyepiece adapter. By varying the number of extension tubes used, amplifications of 1.6 X to 3.0 X can be achieved. It can be used visually as well as for high-magnification photography.
