Saturn June 9th 2011

Hi All,

Imaged Saturn last night in very mediocre seeing, captured 4 RGB & 4 807nm IR data sets. Nothing really stands out within the storm structure in this region, although the animations of both data sets do reveal some more condensed features within the storm.

Thanks for looking
Regards
Trevor

It's a pity the seeing has been blah lately, pretty much everywhere. Good shots in any case Trevor

Nice shots Trevor, the animation really shows how much the seeing varied as well as revealing the less obvious detail.

Thanks Carl, I am always optimistic that better seeing is just around the corner.

Thanks Troy, there was so much cloud about in May that I reckon if it is clear then its worth a go.

Thanks Rob, even in ordinary seeing there is still detail that can be eeked out.
