We had clear skies last night! So despite the moon, I thought I may as well try to do some imaging.
I kept the subs short to try to prevent the moon light washing out the data too much.
13x3 minutes
Canon 550D @ iso400
ED80, HEQ5Pro, Guided qhy5
DSS 3.3.3. beta and CS3

Nice tight stars and they have depth to them! Very sublte colours also.

It was a delicate colour balancing act to rid the image of that blue haze that the moon light had given it.
Definitely a good project to learn from because now I know what I'm doing, I won't let the moon stop me from doing what I love best.
