Quick M8

Taken last night in the wee hours as I had a look at the M83 RGB data I had collected.

Image details for M8:

Scope: Takahashi FSQ 106ED at f5 (530mm)
Camera: QHY9 Mono with Baader LRGB filters
7 X 5 minute Luminance exposures
3 X 5 minute each RGB
Calibrated and combined in CCDStack

80minutes exposure in total.

Thanks Marc. I was beginning to think something was dreadfully wrong with this one. I looked at it a few times and thought, not my best but still not too bad either.

Thanks JJ maybe I will get some good data on M20 and M8 when it gets a bit higher in the sky at a respectable hour.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. I now have my new 120 fitted up on the mount so this and a few other images will have to wait for a while to be finished with the FSQ although I might shoot some frames with the 120 and use good old Registar to combine with this.
Thanks again.
