Tele-Vue 21mm Ethos

Hi:

I was wondering how well anyone here thinks a 21mm Tele-Vue Ethos, 2 inch eyepiece would be for eyepiece projection (particularly using a Meade LX200 10" F10 GPS), for either planetary or deep-sky?

Also I'd be using a Canon Rebel T2i and/or an ST-237A CCD.

I just have 2, 2 inch eyepieces (neither of them Tele-Vue) and I don't have a 2" barlow yet, so I'm thinking that after I get my Meade repaired ($500) I'd get a 2" barlow (telenegative, for about $200) from Meade also.

PS: even though I'm diverting here; If I do get and build an observatory, I'm thinking that the Pod's from SkyShed might not always seal out like a driving storm of rain (which we get here sometimes). So I might want to be extra safe and put a special shrowd over my telescope if and when I have an observatory.

Thank you.
