NGC 3576 in Ha First attempt

Hi,

This is my first go at this object. I took 3 hours of 7 nm Ha using W/O Flt 110 at 20 minute subs. Stacked with DSS and processed in Photoshop CS4. Darks and Flats applied. I wish I had rotated the camera (QHY-9 at -20c) through 90 degrees. Any advice welcome.

Mark

Great shot, there's lots of detail there, well processed. I use the 12nm Ha filter which allows me to use 10min subs. Nice night for an imaging run

Very nice. A good sharp result with lots of detail.

You can rotate the image in Photoshop. Its under image/rotate canvas

You want 90 degrees counterclockwise.

Greg.

Maybe more pleasing to the eye - rotated.

I really am hopeless at this resizing stuff.

My last try at posting this image at a respectable size. I have cropped my rotated image.
