ISO 400, F/22, 1/80s for the "horizon shot" (2 ants walking)
ISO 400 F/18, 1/250 for the other (3 ants, 2 in the hole)

I can just see it ... one ant say's to the other ... I'll distract him while you go around the back .. and bite him on the A## ( photo #2 )

actually, at some point one of my dogs came running across the big ants' nest and the ants took off running in my direction. With the macro zoom on them i jumped!
