Three Faint Fuzzies for this Newbie

Well i'm pretty damn proud of myself. Three galaxies tonight. Sombrero, Cent A and the Southern Pinwheel (NGC 5236). Pretty good for suburban skies and no goto but I did cheat. Sky Safari on my iPad and my trusty Telrad

They were definitely faint fuzzies. Except for the dust-lane in sombrero there was very little definition but it was a cracker of a night

I'm about 30kms north of Brisbane so the sky-glow to the south means I can't see the LMC although I can find the Tarantula (NGC 2070) easy enough. Oh well we take what we're given

Well done Greg. You might have better luck with the LMC when it is higher in the sky, say Jan-Feb.
