Anyone in Melb with an R200ss?
Hi,
I have a Baader RCC1 Coma corrector that I would like to try in a Vixen R200SS Newt. Is there anyone in Melbourne who has a VIxen that would be interested in an evening trying it out? I am contemplating the Vixen scope and wondering how well the combination would work...The GSO 8" f4 doesn't cut it in terms of rigidity and collimatability....I know I've had 2 of them. The Rowe corrector is incredibly sensitive to collimation errors - an MPCC shows perfect images, but the Rowe will still show errors with things the slightest bit off, hence the desire to try the corrector in a Vixen.
