And yes anothe M83 :P

Had one single night of clear sky, with one factory in my east leaving the floodlight's on .
So with floodlight and all, a crop of M83 (yes the bottom part was #@#@!).
Luminance 10*10Min , RGB 10*200Sec binned 2* each.

It needs more light (no not the floodlight's ).

Looks like a few of us were sharing photons tonight Martin.
Sorry to hear about the floodlights, but I think you've done amazingly well all things considered.

You got a lot of detail there despite the evil factory!

Light pollution often shows most heavily in the green channel. Its washed out the colour a bit so try checking your green channel. Probably the black point slider can be shifted more to cut out some of the noise.

Also Rogelio Andreo's "HLVG" free plug in works really well in that scenario.

After balancing the geen bias I would try to up saturation and use the colour balance tool to get some more colour into the stars and the galaxy. It looks like the data is there.

Greg.

Very nice Martin. This target requires a lot of exposure to show up it's best.
Good start.

Looks good given the light pollution. Tough object but you are well one your way with this image. Spent 10 hours on just collecting the data for the final image.
