May 2nd Conjunction over the Range.

This morning was lovely and clear. It was great to see this beautiful conjunction,of four naked eye planets and the thin moon.

Here are a couple of images looking over the Blackbutt Range.

Thanks for looking-Cheers,Chris

Thanks Stephen,I too was particularly pleased with the second image-just got the moon as it cleared the tree.Did not think it would turn out as well as it did.

Great photo's Chris, it seems you have had better conditions for viewing
than we have had in cloudy NSW. I really like the second shot, great
work, well done. We have been considering moving to the
Beerwah/Landsborough area and are traveling up there soon to look
around, hopefully we will have clear nights during our visit.

re conjunction

Thanks Wayne and Liz,yes-its certainly great to see a large amount of images of this amazing event, here is the image just before the moon cleared the trees,I have done a couple of crops of the same image-I hope these may be of interest-not quite as dramatic fore ground as many others. But the skies were clear!!!
