Well here's today's effort at some Solage. I don't think its my best, I left it too late and struggled with clouds and seeing.

I don't know Al, it may be soft but its a superb shot.
Excellent processing mate.
BTW it looks extra wicked through a red gel screen under clear cold skies.

That’s a great image Al. I assume it is a montage of several panes, as I am not familiar with how these specialised solar ‘scopes operate?

2 images, Dennis. One top one bottom. The DMK 41AU02.AS just fits the sun in across the major axis of the ccd with the ED80
.

Thanks Trevor. I processed this one a little brighter around the limb at the expense of contrast on the disc, so that probably makes the proms a bit easier to see.
