SOLD - two scopes
Time to rationalise, so have the following items for sale:
1. William Optics ZS 66mm Petzval refractor -
$320 including shipping in Oz SOLD.
Very good condition. I have only used it visually and it produces sharp, flat views. Comes with soft case, 2" SCT converter and original caps. This has been a great travel scope for me. I may still have the box for this as well.
2. MTO 1000 Maksutov Cassegrain (f10) -
$260 including shipping in Oz SOLD.
This is in good condition and comes with caps, removeable dew shield and a screw on solar filter (Thousand Oaks?). The scope does have a few slight marks/blemishes on the barrel (typical of some Russian optics...). However, the optics are clear and it produces very sharp views. Note that the 1.25" adapter on the back has a small tapped hole, which looks to have been added by a previous owner - the screw is bent, and also seems to be cross threaded. This has not been of any issue, but I mention it for full disclosure. There is a description of the scope here:
