The first question is usually "why?". A few reasons, really. I also own an 8 inch dob that outperforms it from my surburban Melbourne viewing site; I find the GEM mount fiddly to use in the dark; I really don't have the space to justify keeping two telescopes on "hot standby"; I'd like to upgrade a few bits on my dob with the proceeds.
