For Sale: Orion 100 mm ED Apo. refractor

The first question is usually "why?". A few reasons, really. I also own an 8 inch dob that outperforms it from my surburban Melbourne viewing site; I find the GEM mount fiddly to use in the dark; I really don't have the space to justify keeping two telescopes on "hot standby"; I'd like to upgrade a few bits on my dob with the proceeds.

The details:
Orion 100 mm ED Apo. refractor with GEM Skyview Pro mount.
Two Sirius Plossl eyepieces (1.25")
GSO 30mm 2" UW (80 degrees AFOV) eyepiece (30x, 2.6 degrees TFOV)
6x30 finder scope, tube rings and mounting plate, and dual-axis electronic tracking.
JMB Solar Filter
Televue 2" (1.25" insert) Everbrite Dielectric diagonal (upgraded when bought)
Original Orion shipping boxes.

Send me an email via http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/member.php?u=68 if interested.

Price: $2200 (shipping extra if required)

I'd be interested in the OTA only, if you are considering selling the components separately.

Cheers,

Brian.

Sorry chaps, I guess I forgot the important bit. Edited original post.

Asking for $2200 (based on $2400 purchase price new, plus the diagonal upgrade, filter, GSO eyepiece, minus 18 months minimal use).

Please send me emails via my members page, if you'd like to take it further.
