Another Nikon Moon 26 April 2011

Hello

I set up my scope last night in preparation for a last 1/4 Moon shot. Same set up as my previous post - Nikon D3100, 6.3 FR and Meade LX90. I planned to get up at about 2am to take images.

Before that I was mucking around with the camera and 18-55mm lens on a tripod - the first image is of Sirius and Canopus from my small front yard - this is my first attempt at this - 30 sec exp, ISO 100 and F 4.5.

Anyway the Moon shot was taken at 1.50am, exp 1/25, ISO 100 - this is a very easy and rewarding way of shooting full disc shots - 2 down / 26 to go!
The entire imaging session lasted 10 minutes and about 20 images.
