Thanks Paul. The SM90 is pretty forgiving, though in a double stack it is possible to mis-align the etalons which will give an uneven (lateral, rather than hot-spot) field.
I try to keep gain at zero and a gamma of 1 then only vary the exposure time to keep the Skynyx's noise to a minimum. The Skynyx can also capture at 12bits in a native .ser format.... which kills on the post processing front, as file sizes can easily run 2Gig for a mere 600 frames.
