I have set up my LX90 as I want to take images of the Moon with my Nikon after I recently received my t-ring and focal tube attachment thingos.
I have wanted to do this type of imaging as I can capture the entire disc in one snap - I hope to make a composite image of an entire cycle (probably a project that will take a year+)
The sky is clear right now - 8.30pm Brissie time, the Moon just above the horizon (still a couple of hours before it gets above the tree line for me) and now I can only wait for the clouds to roll in!
Matt..
Great image. Plenty of detail and good contrast.
Great start for this project.Look like it fits full frame.
Please keep us all up to date with this.
Now for some good winter nights...
Peter.
