I found the ultimate Image hosting Site

Ive set up my new site on Smugmug (after seeing Phil Hart do the same thing) and I cant believe how excellent the service is .

It was sooo easy to set up and the viewing options look so cool. Have a look at my pic and video gallerys. The thumb nail and view size options are very smooth and professional looking (well, not the pics so much perhaps, but you know what I mean ).

I tried the video hosting 1st, they can take full HD which plays back so well, in a size that suits the viewers screen.

Other features are cool too, like disable right click and watermarks for copyright protection.
It costs bettween $40 and $150 a year, but given the pokey free Googlesite im used to, and the clunky Pbase site you also pay for, I recon it creams them all for reasonable price.

The pro version also provides a shop feature for ppl to buy images Smugmug print and post, all automatically in the background.

I picked a very basic template to start with, but some other examples there are stunning.

Fred,

A nice clean site, and your colour images are superb! I especially like the narrowband M16 Eagle images, and being able to click the stars on or off.

I wonder how the site's rates compare with others?

Smugmug's been around since they invented dirt I think.
I used to post my images there when I was a macro-holic.
